Assassin’s Creed may never top the legendary Ezio Auditore when it comes to lead protagonists, though there has been no shortage of contenders. While characters like the OG Altaïr Ibn-LaʼAhad, Edward Kenway, and Bayek of Siwa are beloved among fans in their own right, Ezio remains the gold standard for the franchise.
Over nearly two decades, Assassin’s Creed has introduced players to new leads in the form of warriors, pirates, Vikings, shinobi, and revolutionaries spanning thousands of years of history, with each protagonist offering a unique perspective on the eternal conflict between the Assassins and the Templars. Even the more divisive entries have contributed standout characters who continue to be celebrated by the community long after their games’ release, such as Naoe and Yasuke from AC Shadows.
While rumors suggest that Ezio Auditore may make a comeback in the upcoming Hexe, albeit in a supporting role, he’s officially returning in a rare and unique new release that honors the legend himself the way he deserves (via Pure Arts).
Ezio Auditore is making an official return in more ways than one, with the re-release of the iconic PureArts Animus Ezio Statue. Originally released back in 2020 in a quarter-scale version, it’s now been restocked with a more affordable 1/8-scale edition as well, giving Asassin’s Creed collectors a chance to claim an incredible sculpture featuring a franchise favorite.
As with the 1/4-scale statue, the 1/8 scale comes on an intricately designed Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral-inspired base, features animus-LED effects, and features the “bridge between past and present” design. The 1/8 scale version is available now for purchase in the US and available for pre-order in the UK and Europe, and is listed for just $119.00 USD. Compared to the $850 1/4-scale version, this new listing on PureArts is much more reasonable—and it will actually fit through your door.
Though much smaller than the original, standing at just around 11″ tall, this new edition is the Ezio return that collectors have been waiting on, and is one of several 1/8-scale figures in the Assassin’s Creed line that features different protagonists from across the game. There are also figures available for Altair, Bayek, Eivor from Ragnarok, Bassim, and more, all of which include differently colored LED lighting effects and combined will make for an incredible display in any collector’s showcase.
While we don’t know for certain if Ezio will return in Assassin’s Creed Hexe or in what capacity, the new 1/8 scale sculpture from Pure Arts is a perfect way to honor the legendary assassin and give all players an opportunity to grab it without being priced out by the premium 1/4-scale cost.
