Spider-Man: Brand New Day has unveiled a first look at a returning Spider-Verse villain.
Marvin Jones III previously voiced Tombstone in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and will bring the character into live action in Brand New Day this summer. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film also stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo.
Recently, a new look at Jones in character as Tombstone was unveiled at a Spider-Man pop-up in New York. A bulletin board mapping out crimes throughout the city, presumably belonging to Peter Parker (Holland), features Daily Bugle newspaper clips showing the film’s villains and detailing Spider-Man’s heroic escapades. In addition to Tombstone, Scorpion (Mando), Boomerang, and Tarantula appear in the new images.
