If you have recently been enjoying Subnautica 2 and want even more of that underwater action, you are in luck, as Steam is offering a limited-time freebie to go alongside a hidden gem of a game. Whilst Steam is no stranger to offering players the chance to dive into epic games for free for a limited time, or even the opportunity to keep them forever thanks to its Free-to-Keep Promotion, this freebie is a bit different.
That is because Steam is currently giving PC users the chance to claim the original soundtrack for AquaDream, an underwater 2D platformer which was first released back in March 2025. As part of the ongoing Steam Ocean Fest event, fans can also get their hands on the game for an impressive 77% off, making the game currently cheaper than a cup of coffee. As such, if you love the free soundtrack, what better way to celebrate it by hearing it in action throughout the events of AquaDream?
Composed by Joshua Liljeblad, the AquaDream soundtrack includes all five songs from the video game, including: Deep Ocean, River Reef Shark, The Hidden Temple, Sunny Shores, and The Choral Reef. Not only that, but the free soundtrack also features an additional reverb version of each song. Whilst the soundtrack usually costs $1, it is now completely free to keep until May 25 at 12 pm CT.
It is also this date that AquaDream will head back to full price, so if you find yourself enjoying the free soundtrack, make sure to take advantage of this limited-time deal and grab the full game.
Developed by Gossiam Games, AquaDream will task players with guiding their anglerfish through intricate underwater mazes. By collecting stars, solving puzzles, and avoiding perilous obstacles, players will be able to progress through the story of a deep-sea adventure filled with hidden treasures and secrets of a world we can usually never reach.
“So clever and cozy! Wherever you can find collectible and great music, I’ll be there!” One positive review read. “AquaDream delivers a rewarding experience for those who appreciate atmospheric exploration and clever puzzle mechanics,” another reads. “Its combination of relaxation and challenge keeps players engaged, making it a hidden gem for puzzle lovers and adventurers alike.”
“Beautiful art style and a fresh underwater theme that instantly hooked me. The puzzle design is smart and keeps you thinking without feeling overwhelmed. Exploring the dark marine mazes as an anglerfish is both relaxing and mysterious. A charming and unique experience for puzzle lovers looking for something different,” another user shared.
So, if you are on the lookout for a cozy soundtrack, make sure to take advantage of Steam’s ongoing deal for AquaDream, and better yet, do not forget that the game is currently available at an impressive 77% off for a limited time.
