A major Sylvester Stallone franchise could soon be getting a massive boost through streaming.
From the many beloved movies in Stallone’s career, the Hollywood legend has remained one of the industry’s biggest action stars to this day. While the actor is also working behind the scenes, one of his most iconic trilogies is about to head to a massive streaming platform.
The entire Creed franchise is on its way to Netflix, as the trilogy will come to the popular streamer on June 1 for subscribers in the United States. The Rocky star worked on each film as an executive producer, as he helped the creative team expand the popular franchise.
While the Creed movies follow Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, Stallone reprised his breakout role in the first two entries. The 2015 installment was directed and co-written by Ryan Coogler, as its success paved the way for him to tackle Marvel Studios’ Black Panther.
The boxing drama became a solid and succesful trilogy for Warner Bros. Pictures, both commercially and critically. Stallone landed an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Creed.

The Creed movies arriving on Netflix in only a few weeks is coming at the perfect time, as the franchise is also going to be present on the small screen. A Delphi spinoff TV series is currently in development at Prime Video, with Jordan attached as an executive producer.
It was revealed that the Delphi cast has been set, with production finally underway in Los Angeles. However, the Creed property is going to continue being present on the big screen, too.
While a release date has not been set yet, a Creed 4 movie is officially happening with Jordan. He is set to reprise his role and direct the next film, but as of writing, details on the sequel have yet to emerge, including when filming is set to happen.
The Sinners star revealed to ScreenRant in 2023 that there are plans for several Creed-related projects in the coming years. The Oscar-winning actor stated that “you will see the Creed-verse continue to grow and expand. I think that we invested in some really interesting characters that I think a lot of people were responding to. I have to give a political answer to that. [laughs] There’s going to be more of the Creed family, and there’s gonna be more of some of the characters that you love from this movie. I just don’t know what package it’s going to be in yet.”
Catch the Creed trilogy on Netflix starting on June 1.
