The Walking Dead has earned its spot as one of the most renowned and recognizable zombie horror franchises of all time, expanding well beyond the original comic book series into a sprawling universe with dozens of television spin-offs, video and board games, and various other projects across all forms of media. Its newest run of TV spin-offs includes Dead City, Daryl Dixon, and The Ones Who Live, all of which brought back major characters from the flagship series and received a generally positive response from fans and critics alike.
The Ones Who Live, which reunited Rick Grimes and Michonne, was particularly well received, earning an 88% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, while Dead City and Daryl Dixon currently hold 78% and 74%, respectively. On the gaming front, The Walking Dead is set to receive a new arcade-style side-scroller beat-em-up game titled Streets of Survival, which you can actually demo now on Steam for free.
However, fans of The Walking Dead franchise will want to keep their eyes peeled for a brand-new release, with The Walking Dead: Eclipse Dune set to arrive soon (via TWDNML).
The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land is preparing to launch its next major seasonal event, the Eclipse Dune Campaign, which was announced on August 1, 2026. During the campaign, players will collect Summer Tokens that can be exchanged for exclusive rewards, including Lydia’s Blouse, Apocalypse Tokens, EX Tokens, and the new Bone Saw Staff.
The Scout-class weapon can strike enemies in a line and features several specialized abilities, including Fork Strike, which temporarily expands its attack area, and Surgery, which restricts an enemy’s movement and accumulates damage before dealing it at the end of the turn.
Eclipse Dune will also arrive alongside a new Survival Pass featuring additional rewards, including Bone Saw Staff: Dead City blueprints, 600 Apocalypse Tokens, Apocalyptic Maggie’s Jacket, Beth’s Notebook Support Tokens, and a 20 Gold Radio. While the announcement confirms that both Eclipse Dune and its accompanying Survival Pass are “coming soon,” a specific release date has not yet been revealed.
