Our time with Grand Theft Auto V is coming to an end with Grand Theft Auto VI just five months away from launch, but that has not stopped Rockstar from wanting its 13-year-old title from going out with a bang or more specifically, its online component.
With Grand Theft Auto VI expected to launch alongside a brand-new iteration of Grand Theft Auto Online, although questions remain as to whether there will be an additional cost on top of the base game, our time with GTA Online as we know it is coming to an end.
Although GTA V is well over a decade old, Grand Theft Auto Online still receives multiple updates each year, enticing fans with brand-new events, cosmetics, and in-game money.
This month is no exception as Grand Theft Auto Online is back with its Fine Art Collector event. Kicking off back on 18 June, this event allows players to get their hands on special, limited-time rewards in The Kortz Center Heist by first enrolling in the new Fine Art Collector program. Doing so could bag you up to GTA$1,500,000 between now and 13 July.
“Play GTA Online between June 18 and July 13 to qualify as an Enthusiast and receive GTA$500,000 and a free Benefactor Turreted Limo (Sedan) from Warstock,” the official Rockstar blog post reads. “This luxurious sedan has a suite of impressive and highly practical amenities, featuring armor plating and room for up to five, along with a roof-mounted Minigun and free direct delivery from Pegasus via the Interaction Menu.”
Not only that, but you and friends can also embark on The Diamond Casino Heist by using your Arcade as a base of operations. “The influx of high-net-worth individuals, collectors, and glitterati staying at The Diamond have filled their vault to the brim with valuable art, and the Heist Finale is guaranteed to pay out double through June 24.”
However, if you do not already own an Arcade, simply logging into GTA Online during this event will reward you with the Wonderama Arcade in Grapeseed at absolutely no cost. Additionally, Arcades in different locations are now available at 40% off.
On top of this, 2x GTA$ and RP on Casino Story Missions and Casino Work are up for grabs, as well as double rewards on KnoWay Out missions.
These are just some of the examples of what is up for grabs during the next month for Grand Theft Auto Online players, but let us hope that the final update truly goes out with a bang later this year.
