As per Reddit, user Difficult-Sir-6760 believes they have uncovered a “major plot twist based on the new official synopsis” for Grand Theft Auto 6. Basically, they think that GTA 6’s story is being dressed up as a “fun summer criminal adventure,” only to then plunge Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos into a “serious psychological thriller” with a “dark, RDR2-style conspiracy.”
This user goes on to explain their Grand Theft Auto 6 theory and how they suspect a plot twist to unfold in great detail, and fans are responding to it with a ton of positivity, sharing their thoughts on how valid or neat it could be. Of course, this is all fan-fueled speculation, but it’ll be thrilling if Difficult-Sir-6760 happens to be in the right ballpark of what Grand Theft Auto 6’s narrative is like, let alone if they’ve hit the nail squarely on the head.
Fans are comparing this theory to the premise in Cyberpunk 2077, wherein CD Projekt Red’s sci-fi epic embroils its protagonist in a harrowing journey.
