Nintendo Switch 10/10 Game Is Free For 24 More Hours

Players on Nintendo Switch have 24 more hours to play a 10/10 game released in 2025 entirely for free, so they’ll have to move fast if they want to take advantage of the benefit. Apart from entirely free-to-play games like Fortnite or Palia, it’s often a bit difficult to find free experiences on Nintendo’s gaming system. However, if players are subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online, they may get access to some freebies. Earlier this month, five classic games arrived free on Nintendo Switch via the Online subscription service.

At the moment, members can enjoy another free game via a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, but only for a limited time. As was announced in a post on the official Nintendo of Europe account on X, subscribers can play a 10/10 game from 2025 entirely for free, but only until June 1. If you haven’t had the chance of checking it out before, this may be the best chance you get, and possibly even be convinced of picking up the game after the free trial period comes to an end.

The free game on Nintendo Switch is BALL x PIT. Released in October 2025, the fantasy brick-breaking roguelite was extremely successful at launch, receiving a ton of praise from players and critics alike. In the game, you’ll be in charge of defending and expanding your homestead, facing hordes of enemies with ricocheting balls to increase your wealth and grow. With its roguelite approach, each run will feel unique based on what you have at your disposal.

BALL x PIT is considered addictive, given its gameplay loop and how customizable your experience can be with randomized balls and fusions you can create. On top of that, you’ll also be in charged with managing the community-building aspect, which will improve your odds when facing enemies. With the free trial via Nintendo Switch Online, you gain access to the full version of the game, though it is time-gated and will come to an end on June 1. It is also worth noting that those who are subscribed to the service and decide to play it on Nintendo Switch 2 consoles will have access to the upgrade pack, which enhances the game for the platform. You’ll also be able to check out all the updates for BALL x PIT issued so far.
