Prime Video subscribers have to search no more for the best movies to watch on the streaming service this weekend, as this comprehensive selection features a few key genres. On last weekend’s Prime Video movie recommendations, I explored movies like the 1987 version of Masters Of The Universe, Jenna Ortega’s comedy horror Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and Gerard Butler’s R-rated action thriller Plane.
At the time of writing, none of those movies are trending on Prime Video in the United States, so they remain underrated picks waiting for subscribers to discover them on streaming. For this weekend’s selection of movies, I decided to mix it up. Two out of the three films have started to perform well on Prime Video’s US chart, while the final pick arrived on the streamer this month.
Another way in which I felt it would be good to shake things up this weekend was through the movies’ casts. Last time around, the films were mostly led by high-profile names in Hollywood, like Gerard Butler, Michael Keaton, Dolph Lundgren, Winona Ryder, and more. Prime Video subscribers will find a healthy mix of rising stars and veterans in this weekend’s recommendations.
These three movies can also be separated by another metric, as only one of them, a thrilling romance, is a Prime Video Original movie. The other two films have been licensed to the streaming service, with Prime Video subscribers able to get lost in the world of an espionage thriller and a hard-hitting crime movie.

Your Fault: London (2026)
First up is the only Prime Video Original movie on the list. Right now, it is also the most popular on streaming. Your Fault: London was released on Prime Video on Wednesday, June 17. At the time of writing, Your Fault: London stands as Prime Video’s most-watched movie in the United States, with the first film in the romantic drama series, 2025’s My Fault: London, at 3rd.
Your Fault: London builds on the relationship set up by its predecessor. This time around, Asha Banks’s Noah and Matthew Broome’s Nick face relationship troubles due to growing pains. The first has to look out for her studies, while the second tries to balance a work-life routine. The romance explores whether they can keep the fire of their intense love alight or whether it will flame out as other players and life enter the picture.

The Debt (2010)
The second movie on this weekend’s Prime Video recommendations has also started to trend on the streaming service nationwide. Right now, The Debt is the 8th most-watched movie on Prime Video in the United States. The spy thriller has a solid critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, standing at 77%, making it a good companion or alternative to the return of Paramount+’s The Agency this Sunday.
The Debt is a star-studded affair, featuring Jessica Chastain (Molly’s Game), Sam Worthington (Avatar: Fire and Ash), Helen Mirren (MobLand), Ciarán Hinds (There Will Be Blood), and more. The spy thriller takes place across two timelines. In 1965, three Mossad agents cover up a botched operation, which comes back to haunt them thirty years later when the man they were supposed to kill resurfaces.

End Of Watch (2012)
Ending this weekend’s Prime Video movie recommendations is the aptly titled End of Watch. If you are looking for an action thriller with a shocking crime story, appropriately moody cinematography, and excellent performances from beloved stars, then the 2012 movie is the one for you. End of Watch is about two LAPD officers, Brian Taylor (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Mike Zavala (Michael Peña), and their daily life on the job.
There is a nice mix between light-hearted moments as the officers document their shifts and the bond between the characters’ is developed, and the gritty nature of police work when a cartel becomes involved. End of Watch will keep viewers on the edge of their seats, especially toward the end of its run. It is a good way to end the list of Prime Video movies, as it is an absolute must-watch.
