Game Of Thrones: The Peaceful King Officially Available Now

Ever since House of the Dragon‘s first season debuted back in 2022, there have been countless controversial moments that completely divided the Game of Thrones fanbase. King Viserys is officially back thanks to a new Game of Thrones: Legends update, giving fans another chance to command one of the franchise’s most beloved rulers in Zynga’s mobile puzzle RPG. Viserys became a fan favorite thanks to his compassionate leadership and determination to preserve peace within House Targaryen, but primarily for Considine’s breathtaking portrayal.

While his reign ultimately couldn’t prevent the epic Dance of the Dragons, many viewers still regard him as one of the HBO prequel’s strongest characters, making his return to the game particularly welcome. The update introduces the new Legendary Champion Viserys I Targaryen, aka The Peaceful King, alongside The Peaceful King Proving Grounds, a limited-time event running from July 30 through August 13.

Proving Grounds are special challenge events designed to teach players how to use newly released champions, slowly introducing their unique abilities through curated battles before encouraging more advanced team-building strategies. Viserys’ event focuses on mastering his support-oriented toolkit, with a series of encounters that highlight his defensive strengths and peaceful mandates while rewarding players for completing each challenge.
